He first got the “developer bug” as a high-schooler after he created a community website for his class. He went on to study computer science. Surprisingly, the university didn’t offer many courses on web development. But the thought of creating something that all of a sudden becomes available to anyone with an internet connection fueled his learning and led to his first internship. “I enjoy creating tools that enables people to do something they otherwise wouldn't be able to do, or help them to be more efficient.”

And Bálint is always searching for the perfect solutions for his clients. This is especially evident at the beginning of projects. “The opportunity to learn what success means to a client, and coming up with the right technical solution to contribute to their business can be an extremely fulfilling process.”
Bálint’s mantra throughout his career has been to always find opportunities to experiment and learn, especially with technologies and projects that you are passionate about. He did just that when he co-founded and built Indivizo, an HR technology startup. “It was an incredible journey that taught me a lot not only about business, but about people, including myself. The most exciting period of my four years with the company was when we started building our engineering team, and parallel to that, a new version of our product based on what we learned in the previous years.”
When he needs to get away from the computer, Bálint heads over to a nearby lake to go wakeboarding. “The moment when the cable clicks and I'm up to jump into the water is when I stop thinking about everything else. I'm only focusing on the water and my board, and — since I'm still a beginner — trying not to fall.”
Bálint likes spending free time with his girlfriend and his adorable bunny, Cinnamon. He also enjoys a filet mignon, paired with a great Hungarian wine from Szekszárd or Villány.
