While her career started in radio promotions, Alodia applied her skills to various roles and industries, including events and promotions, advertising, and product management. At the heart of everything she does, Alodia analyzes the data she has and crafts a plan towards the goals and objectives, adjusting strategy and managing risks along the way.
“Every project is like a puzzle to me - from planning the schedule and budget to prioritizing the client's needs,” Alodia says. “I enjoy the challenge of figuring out how to get all the pieces together, making sure that those pieces fit as the project evolves, and then seeing the final result.”
She has managed Drupal sites since 2010 and as an engagement manager with Acquia, was responsible for the production of enterprise content management systems, e-commerce, and community solutions in the technology, video game, travel & tourism, non-profit, wine and spirits, and entertainment industries.
Her most notable achievements include the production of a large-scale entertainment website where she led multiple teams toward a major site redesign as well as a restructuring of development process and practices to increase efficiency and productivity. She has experience managing projects with complex integrations such as SSO, identity management, game-to-web, and streaming video with authentication restrictions.
In addition to overseeing all components of a project (using methodologies like Agile and Waterfall), she is also experienced at managing cross-functional and overseas teams.
Alodia lives in Los Angeles with her husband, two children, three dogs, and one tortoise, named Mr. T. In her free time (ha!) she volunteers as a foster pet parent for Voices for the Animals and is a website consultant for Forgotten Animals of Los Angeles.
