Strategy
Let’s talk strategy. We are pros at interviewing for information and formulating an outline to complete your project in light of feasibility, functionality, and resource expectations. The plan of action we forge and agree upon becomes the blueprint that will guide the rest of the project.

Recent Work
North Carolina State University - We conducted strategy workshops with North Carolina State University Libraries to identify key organizational objectives.
Princeton University Art Museum - We conducted interviews and strategy workshops for Princeton University Art Museum that led to key project buy-in across all stakeholder groups. A clear understanding of strategy led to an enhanced ability for the Princeton team to set site functional priorities.
Research
We love research. We’re geeky like that. Thorough research up front saves time and money, so we fully explore your project’s intended audience and purpose, all success metrics, related usability factors, and any integrated communications planning.

Recent Work
Lynchburg College - We conducted user testing and web intercept testing for Lynchburg College that led to a deeper institutional understanding of prospective student's parents as an audience base. This understanding greatly influenced how Financial Aid information on the new Lynchburg site was structured and deployed.
Multiple Clients - We've taken a strong look at Drupal's built-in administrative workflows and processes for site management and have improved how site administrators work with deployed sites.
Interaction Design
Interaction design is what we do to ensure that your Web site or application “connects” with the people you’re trying to reach. Using workflows, wireframes, and user interaction models, we prototype your project before programming ever begins.

Recent Work
Sandusky Radio Group - We designed workflows and developed interaction designs optimized for radio disc jockeys to manage their own programs and individual shows on the station's site while on-air.
ChannelAdvisor - We designed and optimized the Search and Advanced Search functions for ChannelAdvisor's Strategy and Support Center. Improvements to the search algorithms and to the way results are displayed facilitated easier access to answers and resulted in a faster/easier self-help process for their customers.
Information Architecture
Information architecture is what we do to spec out all the sections and pages of your Web site or application, making sure that your site is a compelling interactive product—that it satisfies business needs, reinforces branding, and enhances user experience.

Recent Work
Princeton University Art Museum - A Museum has a pretty complex array of information to deploy online. Exhibitions, events, scholarly item information, collection data, the needs are almost endless. By developing a robust and scalable information architecture, the scope of the museum's data and online functionality is communicated to appropriate audiences.
American Astronomical Society - A not-for-profit first established in 1899 for America's astronomers, AAS has a long history of enhancing and sharing humanity's scientific understanding of the Universe with a national audience. The challenge here is to create an information architecture for a redeveloped Drupal 7 membership-driven website that upholds that storied tradition. Bluespark's IA design facilitates membership access to data, information, and services in a timely and efficient manner.
