The company founders needed better capabilities for administrators to create vendors and products (event tickets or event packages), and for users to book them on the site. Booking could be either immediate with credit card payment or on request if confirmation of the event tickets’ availability were necessary before payment is processed.

The site also had to be scalable to accommodate future improvements such as multiple languages, better vendor access to the back end for pricing & availability mgmt, more options for products, and more automatization of administrative tasks.
