Recent Work

Princeton University Art Museum - When we were asked to seamlessly integrate their database of collection items with their Drupal site as well as enable the manipulation and enhancement of that content from within the CMS, we knew we were faced with a great challenge. It was the perfect opportunity to put some of the more innovative aspects of the latest version of Drupal to work. The result was an elegant solution, delivered on time and within budget while allowing for further enhancement in the future.

Jammit.com - Jammit.com came to us with an offer we simply couldn't resist. They asked us to help them place their site, which powers one of the coolest iPad applications around, on a sound technical footing while the UX and creative teams help them improve the overall experience. Within a couple of days we reviewed their Drupal-based site, introduced best practices such as the use of staging environments and code repositories and also helped them send a new build of the app to the Apple Store.

Smart Application Architectures

Key to the success of any complex project is the architecture that underpins its development and the process through which it is managed.

Through clear specification, efficient planning and flexible iteration we ensure projects keep moving forward. With solutions based on smart architecture design we allow projects to grow and adapt with the needs of our clients.

Recent Work

DrupalRooms.com - During work to renew the sites of a small hotel group we were faced with the challenge of incorporate booking functionality that would free them from dependency on third-party solutions. We could have created something that just solved the problem for that specific case or we could build a product that took Drupal into a whole new direction. After a few intense months DrupalRooms.com was launched. A complete website and booking solution for hotels, open source and already used by dozens of hotels around the world.

Kitchen Gardeners International - KGI.org is an a great non-profit organization focused on sharing the passion and knowledge so that people can grow their own food. They asked us to help them rebuilt their site in Drupal 7, incorporating great social features as well integrating with social networks like Facebook. The result was a beautiful site that utilized Drupal to its full to provide custom social features for the community in question - providing an experience that is unique to this community - and as such becomes a great pull and retain factor.

Technical Advantage

We constantly review and evolve our toolset and development process in order to take advantage of the best solutions out there. This means that our clients are getting a technical advantage that can directly translate into a business advantage.

Nevertheless, keeping up sometimes is just not enough. That is why we also get involved in the very definition of what is cutting-edge by our participation in the wider web development community. By sharing our knowledge and helping create new tools we not only use the state of the art but define what that is.

Recent Work

McGill University - The challenge posed was to help an international group of social scientists build a platform that would enable them to study the links between organizations, people and policies that shape gloabl media policy. The resulting Drupal site allowed academics to form groups to focus on "islands" of information and visualize those islands in a variety of ways including sunbursts and force diagrams using the D3.js library.

Winemaps.com - Beautiful locations, amazing wine and cutting-edge technology. The perfect project really. San Francisco - based Winemaps.com wants to be the easiest way for people to discover which wineries or vineyards to visit, what wine events to attend and how to hook up with like-minded people. Drupal 7, custom mapping, integration with third-party services via REST interfaces and lots of love and attention and a few months later we had a website of a great vintage that will age nicely.
